If you are driving, you can reach Stow Mountain by taking the R759 road. Start from the town of Glendalough and head south on the R759 towards Laragh. Continue on this road for approximately 8 km until you reach the turn-off for the Crone Woods car park on your left. This car park serves as a good starting point for your hike to Stow Mountain. After parking, follow the marked trails from Crone Woods towards Stow Mountain, which is around a 3 km hike.

For those using public transport, you can take the Dublin Bus service (Route 44) from Dublin to Glendalough. Once you arrive in Glendalough, you will need to arrange a taxi or local shuttle to take you to the Crone Woods car park. It is advisable to book the taxi in advance as public transport options may be limited. From the Crone Woods car park, you can then hike the 3 km trail to reach Stow Mountain.
