From the centre of Ballasalla, start by heading north on the A27 road toward the roundabout. Continue walking straight through the roundabout, staying on the A27, which is also known as the Old Castletown Road. Keep walking for about 1.5 miles until you reach a small roundabout. At this roundabout, take the second exit onto the A27, continuing towards the north. After approximately another half-mile, you will see the sign for Milntown Estate and Gardens on your left.

From Ballasalla, you can take the bus service to Ramsey. Check the local bus schedule for the most current times, as they can vary. Board the bus heading towards Ramsey and enjoy the scenic ride, which typically takes about 30 minutes. Request to get off at the stop closest to Lezayre Road. After disembarking, walk a short distance to the entrance of Milntown Estate and Gardens, which will be clearly signposted.
