Walking
Start at the Castletown Square, where you can find the large statue of Sir William Hillary. From there, head southeast on the main road (The Parade) towards the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the end of the road, where you will see the beach. Once you reach the beach, turn left and follow the coast. You will soon spot the Tower of Refuge in Douglas Bay, a little way out in the water. To get closer, you can walk along the promenade, which will lead you in the direction of the tower. Enjoy the views and take your time, as it's a scenic walk.

From Castletown, walk to the nearest bus stop which should be located near the Castletown Square. Take the bus number 1 or 2 towards Douglas. The journey will take about 30 minutes.
