Walking
From Castletown, head east along the main road (the A5) towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A5 towards Ballasalla. Continue walking along the A5, passing by the Castletown Golf Links on your left. After approximately 1 mile, you will reach a sign for Ballasalla. Just after the sign, look for Mill Road on your right. Turn right onto Mill Road. Continue straight along Mill Road for about 0.5 miles, and you will find Rushen Abbey on your left.

From Castletown Market Place, take the bus number 1 or 2 towards Douglas. Get off at the Ballasalla stop. Once you get off, walk down Mill Road, which is adjacent to the bus stop. Continue on Mill Road for about 0.5 miles, and you will see Rushen Abbey on your left.
