From Douglas, head to the Bus Station located on Lord Street. Take the bus number 1 (towards Castletown) or number 2 (towards Port Erin). The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Keep an eye out for the Castletown stop, which is close to the town center. Once you reach Castletown, alight at the stop on The Parade. From there, walk towards the waterfront, following the signs to the beach, which is about a 10-minute walk straight down Derbyhaven Road.

If you prefer to walk, start at the Douglas Promenade. Head southwest along the promenade until you reach the end of the seafront. Continue along the A2 road, following the signs for Castletown. The walk is approximately 5 miles and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Along the way, enjoy the stunning coastal views. Upon reaching Castletown, follow the signs to Derbyhaven Road, where you will find Castletown Beach.

For a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Douglas directly to Castletown Beach. Taxis can be hailed from the street or booked via phone or an app. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic and will drop you off right near the beach area on Derbyhaven Road.
