Getting There

  • Bus

    From Douglas, head to the Bus Station located on Lord Street. Take the bus number 1 (towards Castletown) or number 2 (towards Port Erin). The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Keep an eye out for the Castletown stop, which is close to the town center. Once you reach Castletown, alight at the stop on The Parade. From there, walk towards the waterfront, following the signs to the beach, which is about a 10-minute walk straight down Derbyhaven Road.

    If you prefer to walk, start at the Douglas Promenade. Head southwest along the promenade until you reach the end of the seafront. Continue along the A2 road, following the signs for Castletown.
