From Douglas, make your way to the bus station located on Lord Street. Look for the bus number 1 or 2 heading towards Ballasalla. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ballasalla bus stop, disembark and walk towards the Isle of Man Airport. The Manx Aviation and Military Museum is located at the airport, just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk from Douglas to the Isle of Man Airport, start by heading south on the Promenade towards the outskirts of town. Continue onto the A5 road, following the signs towards Ballasalla. The total distance is about 6 miles, so it may take around 2 hours. Once you reach Ballasalla, look for signs directing you to the airport; the museum is located within the airport grounds.

For a quicker and more comfortable option, you can take a taxi from Douglas to the Isle of Man Airport. Simply flag down a taxi or call a local taxi service. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.
