Getting There

    From the center of Port Erin, head southeast on Station Road towards the beach. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the A7. Turn right onto the A7 and follow it as it curves around. After approximately 1 mile, you will enter Castletown. Look for signs directing you to Castle Rushen. Once you reach Castle Street, turn left, and the castle will be on your right-hand side. The estimated walking time from Port Erin is about 25-30 minutes.

    From Port Erin, walk to the bus stop located on Station Road. Take the bus number 1 or 2 towards Castletown. The journey takes about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Castletown stop, which is near the main square. From there, walk northeast on Duke Street for a few minutes until you reach Castle Street. Turn right on Castle Street, and Castle Rushen will be on your left. Make sure to check the bus timetable for return trips.
