Walking
Start at the Douglas Promenade, which is easily accessible from most central locations in Douglas. Head towards the north end of the promenade, passing by the impressive Victorian architecture and enjoying views of the bay. As you walk along the promenade, keep an eye out for the 'Tower of Refuge' sign, which is located near the end of the promenade. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Victoria Street. Turn right onto Victoria Street and then take the first left onto the Marine Drive. Follow Marine Drive along the coastline until you see the Tower of Refuge rise above the water at St. Mary's Isle.

From the Douglas Bus Station, take bus number 1 or 2 towards Port Erin or Castletown. You will need to get off at the stop called 'Tower of Refuge.' Once you disembark, walk towards the coastline, and you will see the Tower of Refuge situated on St. Mary's Isle. The bus journey takes approximately 10-15 minutes, and the bus frequency is typically every 30 minutes.

If you're comfortable cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Douglas. Start at the Douglas Promenade and cycle north along the waterfront. Take Marine Drive, which will lead you directly to St. Mary's Isle, where the Tower of Refuge is located.
