Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Kirk Michael, head south on Main Road (A2) towards the village of Ballaugh. Continue along Main Road for approximately 1 mile until you reach the junction with the A3 road. Turn left onto the A3 and continue straight for about 2 miles. You will pass through the village of Ballasalla. Stay on the A3, and as you approach Castletown, follow the signs for the town center. Upon entering Castletown, keep an eye out for Castle Street on your right. Turn onto Castle Street, and you will find Castle Rushen on your left.

    From Kirk Michael, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Main Road. Take the Bus Vannin service towards Douglas, which will take you towards Castletown. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Castletown bus stop. From there, walk along the main road until you reach Castle Street. Turn onto Castle Street, and Castle Rushen will be located on your left.
