Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Onchan village center, head north on Main Road towards the roundabout. Continue straight through the roundabout, following the signs for Peel. You'll be on the A1 road. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will reach a bus stop on your left; this is where you can board a bus heading towards Peel. The bus number is 3 or 3A. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes until you reach the bus stop at Peel Town Hall.

    Once you get off at Peel Town Hall, walk towards the sea and head west along the promenade. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade, then take a left onto Mill Road. The Manx Transport Heritage Museum, located at The Old Brickworks Office, will be on your right after about a 10-minute walk.

    From Onchan, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Road and take the bus number 3 or 3A towards Peel. The journey will take approximately 25 minutes. Disembark at Peel Town Hall, then proceed to the museum by walking as described above.
