Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Peel, head east on the main road (A27) towards the roundabout. Continue straight along the A27 for approximately 1.5 miles. You will pass the Peel Castle on your left. Keep walking until you reach a T-junction. Turn left onto the A5 road towards Ballasalla. Continue on this road for about 2 miles. You will see signs for the Isle of Man Airport. The Manx Aviation and Military Museum is located within the airport premises, so follow the signs and enter the airport grounds. The museum is situated near the airport terminal.

    From the bus stop located at the Peel Market Square, take the bus that goes towards Douglas. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the Isle of Man Airport stop (usually called 'Airport'). The journey takes around 25 minutes. Once you get off the bus, follow the signs to the Manx Aviation and Military Museum located within the airport grounds.
