Getting There

  • Walking

    From the centre of Peel, head north on the main street, Market Place. Continue straight until you reach the junction at the top of the street. Turn right onto Athol Street. Walk along Athol Street until you reach the junction with the main road, which is called the A27. Turn left onto the A27 and walk for about 300 meters. You will see Tynwald Hill on your left, just past the junction with the road leading to the Peel Castle.

    If you are starting from the Beach area, walk towards the promenade and head towards the Peel Castle. Once you reach the castle, continue walking along the path that circles the castle grounds. As you walk along, keep heading towards the main road (A27). Tynwald Hill will be on your right side after you exit the castle area.

    If you are near the bus stop in Peel, begin by walking towards the main road (A27). Cross the road and head straight towards the town centre. Once you reach the junction at the top of the street, turn left onto Athol Street. Continue walking until you see Tynwald Hill on your left, just before you reach the junction with the road leading to Peel Castle.
