  • Walking

    From the center of Port Erin, head east on Station Road towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A27 road. Continue on this road for approximately 3 miles. As you approach Castletown, you will see signs for Castle Rushen. Once you reach Castle Town, follow the signs directing you towards the castle; it is located on Castle Street. The castle will be on your left.

    From Port Erin, walk to the bus stop at the main road (the bus stop is usually located near the shops). Take the bus towards Douglas and ask for the stop for Castletown. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you disembark at the Castletown stop, walk towards Castle Street, which is a short distance away, and you will find Castle Rushen on your left.
