Walking
Start at the Port St Mary promenade, facing the sea. Walk south along the promenade until you reach the end where it meets the road. Turn left onto the main road, known as The Promenade. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the A27 road. At the junction, turn right onto the A27. Follow the A27 for approximately 1 mile, enjoying the coastal views. As you approach the village of Surby, look for a sign indicating 'Fleshwick Bay'. Just before reaching Surby, take a right turn onto Surby Road. Follow this road as it winds down towards the coast. Keep an eye out for a small footpath on your right that leads directly to Fleshwick Bay. The footpath may be a bit steep but will lead you to the beach area.

From Port St Mary, head to the nearest bus stop on the main road. Catch the bus heading towards Douglas or any bus that stops at Surby. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Surby Road. Once you reach Surby, exit the bus and look for signs for Fleshwick Bay. Walk down Surby Road, and take the footpath that leads to the beach. This journey may take about 20-30 minutes depending on the bus schedule.

If you're renting a bicycle in Port St Mary, start at the bicycle rental location and head towards the main road, The Promenade. Cycle south along the promenade until you reach the junction with the A27. Turn right onto the A27 and continue for about 1 mile. Watch for the sign to Surby and turn right onto Surby Road. As you cycle down this road, be cautious of the steep sections. Look for the footpath that leads to Fleshwick Bay on your right. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes.
