Walking
Start at the Ramsey Town Centre, particularly at the main square where the bus station is located. Exit the square and head north on Parliament Street. Continue straight until you reach the T-junction with the A1 road (Queen's Promenade). Turn right onto the A1 and walk along the promenade, enjoying views of the sea. After approximately 1 mile, you will reach a junction where the A1 meets the A2. Continue straight onto the A2 road, following the signs towards the A2. You will walk through scenic countryside; keep an eye out for local wildlife. After about 1.5 miles on the A2, you will see a small footpath on your left leading towards Old Pete's Trough. Follow this footpath for about 0.5 miles, and you will arrive at Old Pete's Trough, which is marked by a small stone structure.

From the Ramsey Town Centre, head to the bus station. Take bus number 4 towards Douglas. Inform the driver you want to get off at the stop for Old Pete's Trough. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you get off the bus, follow the signs leading to Old Pete's Trough, which is a short walk away. The area is well-marked, and you should see the small footpath leading to the site.
