Getting There

    From the center of Ramsey, head north on Parliament Street towards the A1, then turn left onto the A1 road. Continue walking straight along the A1 for about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) until you reach the junction with the B12 road. Turn right onto the B12, also known as the Ballaugh Road. Keep walking straight on the B12 for approximately 0.5 miles (0.8 km) until you see signs for The Ayres National Nature Reserve. Follow these signs and the path will lead you directly into the reserve.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Ramsey. Start at the bike rental location and head north on Parliament Street towards the A1. Turn left onto the A1 road and cycle for about 1.5 miles (2.4 km). When you reach the junction with the B12 road, turn right. Continue cycling straight on the B12 for approximately 0.5 miles (0.8 km). Look for signs directing you to The Ayres National Nature Reserve and follow the path leading into the reserve.
