Getting There

    From the Laxey village center, head north on the A2 road towards the Laxey Railway Station. Continue straight until you reach the Laxey Wheel, which is on your right. Keep walking along the A2 for about 1.5 miles. You will pass a few small shops and cafes along the way. As you approach the coast, the road will curve slightly to the left. Continue straight until you reach a T-junction. Turn left onto the A16 road, and the Point of Ayre Lighthouse will be straight ahead, about a 10-minute walk.

    From Laxey, take the bus service number 3 or 3A heading towards Ramsey. You can catch the bus at the Laxey bus stop located near the Laxey Wheel. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Request to get off at the Point of Ayre stop. Once you get off the bus, the lighthouse is a short walk away, just follow the signs towards the coast.
