Walking
If you are starting from the Akko Old City, head towards the main entrance at the eastern gate of the Old City. Once you are outside, walk straight along Jerusalem Street until you reach the intersection with Ha-Hagana Street. Turn left onto Ha-Hagana Street and continue walking until you reach the Templars’ Tunnel entrance. Enter the tunnel and follow the signs leading you toward the Citadel. Upon exiting the tunnel, go straight ahead towards the beach area, and you’ll see the Al-Muallaq Mosque ahead, just a short walk from the waterfront.
Public Transport
From the Akko Central Bus Station, take bus line 2 or 4 towards the Old City. Get off at the 'Old City' stop. From there, walk towards the main entrance of the Old City, then follow Jerusalem Street as outlined in the walking directions above. This bus route is convenient as it runs frequently and provides a direct link to the Old City.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near the Akko promenade. Start at the promenade and head towards the Old City. Follow the path along the coast until you reach the Citadel area, then park your bike and walk towards the Al-Muallaq Mosque, which is just a few minutes away from the Citadel.
