Getting There

• Walking

  From the Old City of Akko, head towards the main bus station located at HaHagana Street. After exiting the Old City, walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the bus station. Once at the bus station, look for bus number 4 or 5, which will take you towards the beach area. Board the bus and ride for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the stop named 'Hof Akko' (Akko Beach). After getting off the bus, walk towards the beach, and continue along the coastline for about 10-15 minutes. You will see signs directing you to 'שמורת חולות המפרץ' as you approach the entrance.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one from various rental shops in Akko. Start from the Old City and make your way to the promenade along the beach. Follow the coastal path heading north, which is well-marked and offers scenic views. Continue biking for approximately 25 minutes until you reach 'שמורת חולות המפרץ'. Be sure to look for the signs along the route that indicate the direction of the nature reserve.

• Public Transport

  From the Old City of Akko, walk to the central bus station located on HaHagana Street. Once there, take either bus number 4 or 5, which heads towards the beach area. The journey should take around 15 minutes. Disembark at the 'Hof Akko' stop. From there, walk towards the beach and follow the signs that lead to 'שמורת חולות המפרץ', which is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the bus stop.
