Walking
From the city center of Akko, head towards the Akko Port. Walk along the coastal promenade towards the south until you reach the Akko bus station. From there, take bus number 4 towards Tiberias. Ensure to check the bus schedule as it may vary. Once you reach the Capernaum stop, disembark and follow the signs directing you to Capernaum, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. You will see signs pointing to the archaeological site.
Public Transportation
Begin your journey at the Akko train station, located in the eastern part of the city. Take a train towards Tiberias, and disembark at the Capernaum station. As the train station is a bit remote, you may need to walk approximately 15 minutes to reach the actual site of Capernaum. Follow the main road signs; the area is well-marked for visitors.
