Getting There

  • Public Bus

    If you are starting from the Be'er Sheva central bus station, take bus number 12. The bus stop is located just outside the main entrance of the station. Board the bus and stay on for approximately 20 minutes. Keep an eye on the bus stops; you should get off at the stop named 'Derech Ilan Ramon' or 'Negev Zoo.' From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the entrance of the Negev Zoo, which is located at Mor ton Mandel St. 1, Derech Ilan Ramon 5. Follow the signs towards the zoo entrance.

  • Walking

    If you are within walking distance from the city center, you can walk to the Negev Zoo. Start at the Be'er Sheva train station. Head south on Jaffa St towards Ha'atzmaut St. Continue straight onto Derech Ilan Ramon. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will see the entrance to the Negev Zoo on your right at Mor ton Mandel St. 1. It's a pleasant walk through the city and a good way to see local sights.
