Getting There
Bus
From Holon, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is likely on Sokolov Street. Take the bus number 7 towards Tel Aviv. Stay on the bus for about 20-25 minutes until you reach the 'Tel Aviv Central Bus Station'. From there, transfer to bus number 480 that goes directly to Jerusalem. Once you reach Jerusalem, the bus will drop you at the central bus station. From the bus station, you can either walk or take a local bus to the Old City. To walk, head northwest on Yaffo Street, then continue straight until you reach the Jaffa Gate, which leads to the Old City. The Muslim Quarter is located within the Old City.
Train
Walk to the Holon-Wolfson train station. Board a train towards Tel Aviv and get off at the 'Tel Aviv Savidor Center' station. From there, transfer to the train heading to Jerusalem. The train ride to Jerusalem takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Jerusalem train station, exit and take bus number 74 or 75 towards the Old City. Get off at the 'Jaffa Gate' stop. From Jaffa Gate, walk into the Old City, and you will find signs directing you to the Muslim Quarter.
Light Rail
Head to the nearest light rail station in Holon. Take the light rail towards Tel Aviv and get off at the 'Haganah' station. From there, transfer to the light rail that connects to the Jerusalem line. Once you reach the Jerusalem light rail station, you can disembark and walk towards the Old City. Follow the path to Jaffa Gate, enter the Old City, and navigate towards the Muslim Quarter.
Walking
If you are up for an adventure, you can walk to Jerusalem from Holon. Start by heading north on Sokolov Street until you reach the main road leading to Tel Aviv. Walk towards the Ayalon Highway and follow the signs towards Jerusalem. This is a long walk (approximately 20 km), so ensure you are prepared with water and snacks. Once you reach the outskirts of Jerusalem, head towards the Old City and enter through Jaffa Gate. The Muslim Quarter is located within.
