If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Jerusalem. Head towards the main road, Jaffa Street, and follow it until you reach the intersection with King George Street. Turn left onto King George Street and continue straight. After a few minutes, turn right onto Rothschild Street. The Jerusalem Bird Observatory will be on your right. Parking may be available nearby, but check local signs for any parking fees.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach the Jerusalem Bird Observatory by bus, locate the nearest bus stop in Jerusalem. Take bus number 18 or 7, which heads towards the city center. Get off at the stop named 'Rothschild Street'. From the bus stop, walk straight along Rothschild Street for about 5 minutes. The observatory will be on your left. Bus fare is approximately 6.50 NIS (New Israeli Shekels) for a single journey.
Public Transportation - Light Rail
The Jerusalem Light Rail is another convenient option. Board the light rail at any station along the route and ride towards the 'Mount Herzl' station. Get off at the 'City Center' stop.
