Getting There

Bus
From Jerusalem, head to the Central Bus Station (Tachana Merkazit). Take bus number 21, which goes directly to Bethlehem. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bethlehem bus station, exit the bus and walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will reach Waad Ma'ali Street. Turn left onto Waad Ma'ali, and the Bethlehem Cave will be located at number 12 on your right.

Shared Taxi (Service)
From Jerusalem, go to the area near the Damascus Gate where shared taxis (known as 'service') to Bethlehem depart. Look for a taxi that displays 'Bethlehem' as its destination. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Bethlehem, tell the driver to drop you off near Waad Ma'ali Street. From there, walk for about 5 minutes to reach 12 Waad Ma'ali, where the Bethlehem Cave is located.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk to Bethlehem, start from the Old City of Jerusalem. Make your way to the Bethlehem Road, which is just past the check-point at the end of the Old City. The walk is around 10 kilometers and takes about 2 hours. Follow the road signs towards Bethlehem. Once you reach the city, navigate towards Waad Ma'ali Street, and you will find the Bethlehem Cave at number 12.
