Getting There

Walking
If you're starting from the Old City, head out of the Jaffa Gate and walk along the main road, Hillel Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with King David Street. Make a right onto King David Street and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will see the Dormition Abbey on your left, just before you reach Mount Zion.

From the Central Bus Station in Jerusalem, take bus number 99 towards the Old City. Get off at the 'Zion Square' stop. From there, walk straight towards the Old City walls and turn left onto Hillel Street. Follow this road until you reach King David Street, then turn right. The Dormition Abbey will be on your left after about a 10-minute walk.
