Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Old City of Jerusalem, exit through the Jaffa Gate. Once outside, head straight down Jaffa Street for about 1 kilometer. You will pass various shops and cafes along the way. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with King David Street. Turn left onto King David Street and continue walking for about 500 meters. You will see the David Citadel Hotel on your right. After passing the hotel, continue straight until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Sderot Ben Gurion. After about 300 meters, you will see Sderot Blumfield on your right. The Montefiore Windmill is located at the end of Sderot Blumfield.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Old City of Jerusalem, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Jaffa Street. Take bus number 21 towards 'Talpiot' and get off at the 'Mishkanot Sha'ananim' stop. From there, walk up the hill on Sderot Blumfield for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Montefiore Windmill at the end of the street.

  • Public Transport (Light Rail)

    If you are near the Mahane Yehuda Market, walk to the nearby light rail station. Board the light rail train towards 'Hebrew University'. Disembark at the 'City Hall' stop. From there, walk towards King David Street, and then turn left. Walk down King David Street until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Sderot Ben Gurion. After about 300 meters, take a right onto Sderot Blumfield, and you will find the Montefiore Windmill at the end of the street.
