If you are in the area of the Old City, head towards the direction of Al-Wad Street. Walk along Al-Wad Street until you reach the junction with Sultan Suleiman Street. Turn left onto Sultan Suleiman Street and continue straight. You will see signs directing you towards Damascus Gate. The gate will be ahead, and you can enter the Old City through this historic entrance.

From any location in East Jerusalem, look for bus routes that head towards the Old City. You can catch a bus from major streets such as Salah al-Din Street. Buses 1, 3, or 75 typically go towards the Old City. The fare is usually around 6-10 NIS. Ask the driver to let you off at the closest stop to Damascus Gate, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are near the Light Rail station, board the train towards the City Center. Get off at the 'Damascus Gate' station. From the station, it's a short walk to the gate itself. Follow the signs leading you to the entrance of the Old City.
