Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Old City, make your way to the Jaffa Gate. Exit through Jaffa Gate, then turn left onto David Street. Follow David Street until you reach the intersection with Sultan Suleiman Street. Turn right onto Sultan Suleiman Street and continue straight. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the New Gate on your right.

    If you are near the Mahane Yehuda Market, you can take bus line 7 or 8 towards the Old City. Get off at the stop for the Damascus Gate. From there, follow Sultan Suleiman Street north for about 15 minutes until you reach the New Gate.
