Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Old City, make your way to the Jaffa Gate. Exit through Jaffa Gate, then turn left onto David Street. Follow David Street until you reach the intersection with Sultan Suleiman Street. Turn right onto Sultan Suleiman Street and continue straight. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the New Gate on your right.

    If you are starting from the Western Wall, exit the area and head north towards the Muslim Quarter. Follow the signs to the Damascus Gate. Once you arrive at the Damascus Gate, continue walking straight until you reach Sultan Suleiman Street. Turn left onto Sultan Suleiman Street and walk for about 15-20 minutes until you see the New Gate on your left.
