From the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve entrance, start walking towards the main road (Route 90). Once you reach Route 90, turn left and walk towards the Ein Gedi Kibbutz. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Kibbutz. There, you can ask for information about public transportation or local rides to Bethlehem.

After reaching the Ein Gedi Kibbutz, look for a bus stop or ask locals about the nearest bus service. You will need to take a bus heading towards Jerusalem. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off at a station where you can transfer to another bus towards Bethlehem. Once you reach Bethlehem, follow local signs or ask for directions to Waad Ma'ali street, where the Bethlehem Cave is located.

Taxi or Ride-Sharing

While at the Ein Gedi Kibbutz, you can also consider booking a local taxi or using a ride-sharing app if available. Provide the driver with the address '12 Waad Ma'ali, Bethlehem' and confirm the fare beforehand. The driver will take you directly to your destination, which is approximately 10 kilometers away.
