Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards the Dead Sea region from anywhere in Judea. Use Route 90, which runs along the western shore of the Dead Sea. Follow the signs for Masada and take the turnoff towards Masada National Park. There is a parking area available near the Masada Cablecar station. Please note that there is a parking fee of around 10-20 NIS.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Jerusalem or Tel Aviv to Ein Gedi. From Ein Gedi, you can catch an additional bus to the Masada National Park entrance. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to the Masada Cablecar station. There is an entrance fee to the park, which is about 28 NIS for adults.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct option, consider taking a taxi or using a rideshare app from your location in Judea. Specify Masada Cablecar as your destination, and the driver will take you directly there. The fare will vary depending on your starting point but expect to pay around 100-200 NIS for the trip.
Use Tower Bridge as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
