Walking
If you are in the center of Nazareth, head towards the Basilica of the Annunciation. From there, exit the basilica and walk towards the main road, Al-Ma'arakeh Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Mount Tabor. Follow the signs for Mount Tabor, which will lead you to a path that will take you closer to the mountain. The walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, and as you approach, you'll enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding area.
Public Transport
From Nazareth, head to the main bus station located on the eastern side of the city. Look for bus number 330 or 333 that heads towards Tiberias. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the Mount Tabor stop. The bus ride will take around 25-30 minutes. Once you reach the stop, you may need to walk a short distance to the entrance of Mount Tabor, which is well signposted.
Taxi or Ride-Sharing
You can also opt for a taxi or use a ride-sharing service such as Gett or Uber. Simply request a ride to Mount Tabor. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes from the center of Nazareth, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they know the location of Mount Tabor, as it's a popular tourist destination.
