If you are traveling by car, head towards Sde Boker, which is your closest town. From Sde Boker, take Route 40 south towards Mitzpe Ramon. After approximately 10 kilometers, turn left onto the road leading to עין עקב (Ein Aqev). Follow this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the parking area for עין עקב. Keep in mind that the last section of the road may be unpaved, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended.

To reach עין עקב using public transportation, take a bus from Beer Sheva to Sde Boker. Buses are available from the central bus station, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once in Sde Boker, you can either walk roughly 6 kilometers to the entrance of עין עקב or arrange for a local taxi to take you to the parking area. Note that taxi services may vary, so it’s advisable to confirm rates beforehand.
