Car
If you are driving, take Route 40 southbound from Be'er Sheva. Continue on Route 40 until you reach the junction with Route 25. Take Route 25 east towards Mitzpe Ramon. After about 20 km, turn south onto Route 40 towards Shivta. Follow the signs for Shivta National Park. The park entrance is approximately 5 km down this road. Make sure to pay attention to the signs indicating the park entrance and parking area.

Public Transportation
To reach Shivta National Park using public transportation, first take a bus from Be'er Sheva to Mitzpe Ramon (check Egged bus schedules for times). Once you arrive in Mitzpe Ramon, you will need to take a taxi or arrange for a ride to Shivta National Park, as public transport does not directly reach the park. The taxi ride from Mitzpe Ramon to Shivta is approximately 20 km and should cost around 150-200 NIS. It's advisable to arrange your return transport in advance.

For the more adventurous, biking to Shivta National Park is an option. Start from Mitzpe Ramon and head south along Route 40. The journey is approximately 20 km and can be challenging due to the terrain. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather conditions before setting out. Once you reach Shivta, there are bike racks available at the park entrance.
