Walking

Start at the center of Safed, near the main square (Ha'atzmaut Square). From the square, head north on Ha'atzmaut Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hameiri Street. Turn left onto Hameiri Street and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. At the end, you will see the entrance to the Citadel park on your right. Follow the pathway leading up to the Safed Citadel.

If you are near the Artist Quarter, head southeast on Hatzfira Street. Walk down the street until you reach the Tzfat Cemetery. From there, follow the signs that point towards the Citadel. The pathway will lead you uphill, and you will eventually arrive at the Citadel entrance.

From the Old City area, locate the main Shuk (market) on Hameiri Street. Walk straight through the market, enjoying the local shops and atmosphere. Once you exit the market, continue straight until you see the Citadel on your left. Follow the signs to the entrance, which is accessible by a short staircase.
