Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards Herzliya. From the center of Sharon Plain, take the Route 2 highway towards Tel Aviv. Stay on Route 2 for about 15 minutes until you reach the Herzliya exit (Exit 13). Follow the signs for Herzliya and continue on Hayarkon Street. After about 1 kilometer, turn right onto Sderot Nitzanim, then left onto Sderot Hatzorfim, which will take you directly to the Apollonia Fortress parking lot. There may be a small parking fee, so keep some change handy.

Public Transportation

To reach Apollonia Fortress via public transportation, first make your way to the Herzliya train station. You can take a train from various locations in Sharon Plain (e.g., Netanya or Kfar Saba). Once you arrive at Herzliya station, exit the station and take bus line 29 towards the 'Gordon Beach' stop. Get off at 'Apollonia' bus stop, which is a short walk from the fortress entrance. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as it may vary. The entrance to the fortress may have a small entry fee, so bring some cash.
