Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Tiberias, head towards the lakeside promenade. Start at the Tiberias Marina, located at the intersection of Ben Gurion Street and the promenade. Walk along the boardwalk, enjoying the views of the Sea of Galilee. Continue walking north along the promenade for about 1.5 km (approximately 20-25 minutes). You will pass by several restaurants and shops. Keep following the path until you reach the Sea of Galilee, which is clearly marked, and you will see the expansive lake before you.

    Locate the nearest bus stop in Tiberias; the main bus station is located on Hashomer Street. Take bus number 55 or 52 towards the Sea of Galilee. The journey is approximately 15 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver of your destination. The bus will stop at various points along the lakeshore. Get off at the last stop, which is near the Sea of Galilee. From there, it is a short walk to the lakeside.
