Car
If you're traveling by car, start from any location in Alta Valtellina and head towards Sondrio. You can take the SS38 road, which is the main route connecting the region. Drive approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your starting point. Once in Sondrio, follow signs for 'Centro' until you reach Via de Capitani di Masegra. There is parking available near the castle. Keep in mind that parking may incur a small fee, typically around €1-2 per hour.

The bus ride will take approximately 30-50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Sondrio bus station, it's a short 15-minute walk to Castello Masegra. Head south on Via XXV Aprile, continue onto Via Campello, and then turn right onto Via de Capitani di Masegra, where you will find the castle.
Public Transportation (Train)
If you're coming from further away, take a train to Sondrio. The train station is well connected to larger cities. Upon arriving at Sondrio train station, transfer to a local bus or walk to Castello Masegra, which is approximately a 20-minute walk. From the station, walk down Via Vittorio Veneto, then turn left onto Via de Capitani di Masegra. The walk is mostly downhill and should be straightforward.
