If you are traveling by car, head towards Prags (39030) in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano – South Tyrol. From Bolzano, take the SS12 road towards Bressanone, and then merge onto the A22 motorway towards Brennero. Take the exit for Valle di Braies (Braies Valley) and follow the signs to Prags. Once in Prags, park your car at designated parking areas near the hiking trailhead.

To reach Prags via public transportation, take a train to Villabassa (Niederdorf) from major cities like Bolzano or Bressanone. From Villabassa, you can catch a local bus (Bus Line 442) that goes directly to Prags. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited, especially on weekends. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes.

Once you arrive in Prags, if you parked your car or arrived by bus, you will need to walk to the trailhead for Etape 1 Jour 1. The trailhead is well-marked and can be reached by following signs from the main square in Prags. It is a short walk of about 10-15 minutes.
