Getting there

Car

If you're traveling by car, head towards the village of Prags (39030 Prags, Autonomous Province of Bolzano – South Tyrol). From Alta Via 1, take the SS51 road towards Dobbiaco/Toblach. Continue on SS51 until you reach the junction for the SP46 road. Turn onto SP46, which will take you directly to Prags. Keep an eye out for signs indicating 'Pragser Tal' as you approach the village. Parking is available near the entrance to the valley.

Public Transportation

To reach Pragser Tal via public transportation, first take a bus from any point on Alta Via 1 to Dobbiaco/Toblach. From Dobbiaco, catch the bus number 442 towards Prags. This bus will take you directly to the village of Prags. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited. The bus fare is approximately €3-€5 one way. Once you arrive in Prags, follow the signs towards Pragser Tal, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

Hiking
