Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest major city, Bolzano. Take the A22 motorway towards Bressanone/Bruneck. Exit at 'Bruneck' and follow the signs for Prags/Pragser Wildsee. Drive along the SP49 road until you reach the parking area near the Pragser Wildsee, which is approximately 45 minutes from Bruneck. From the parking area, you will find trail signs directing you towards Rossalm Hochplateau. The hike to the plateau is about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train to the 'Bruneck' train station. From there, catch the bus (Line 442) towards 'Prags'. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Pragser Wildsee' stop. From there, follow the clearly marked hiking trails leading to Rossalm Hochplateau. The hike can take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary, especially on weekends.

Once you arrive at the Pragser Wildsee, head towards the marked hiking trail entrance, which is located near the lake. The trail to Rossalm Hochplateau is well-marked with signs.
