Walking
From the main square in Amalfi (Piazza Flavio Gioia), head north towards Via Lorenzo d'Amalfi. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Via delle Cartiere. Turn left and continue walking for another 10 minutes. You will arrive at the Amalfi bus station. From here, take the bus to Salerno, which takes about 30 minutes. Once in Salerno, disembark at the Salerno bus station. From the bus station, you can either walk to Piazza Alfano I, which is about a 15-minute walk northeast, or take a local bus if you prefer.

Start at the main bus station in Amalfi, located at Piazza Flavio Gioia. Purchase a ticket to Salerno at the ticket counter. Board the SITA bus that goes to Salerno. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Salerno bus station, exit and walk towards the main pedestrian area. From the bus station, it is a 15-minute walk to Piazza Alfano I, where the Cathedral of Santa Maria degli Angeli is located. Follow the signs towards the city center, and you will find the cathedral easily.
