From the main square of Amalfi (Piazza Flavio Gioia), head towards the beach. Walk along the coast to the right until you reach the bus stop for local SITA buses. Take the SITA bus towards Maiori. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Disembark at the Maiori stop. Once you exit the bus, walk towards Via Castello, which will be a short uphill walk. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at Castello di San Nicola de Thoro-Plano, which is situated on a hill offering beautiful views.

From Amalfi's main bus station, board the SITA bus heading towards Maiori. The bus frequency is usually every 30 minutes. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the Maiori stop.
