Bus
Start by walking to the main bus station in Amalfi, located near the Piazza Flavio Gioia. From there, take the SITA bus towards Naples. Ensure to check the schedule for bus timings. The journey to Pompei will take approximately 1 hour. Get off at the Pompei Scavi stop, which is the closest stop to the Teatro Piccolo. Once you disembark, walk straight down Via Plinio until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn right onto Via Roma, and you will see Teatro Piccolo just a short walk ahead on your left.
Ferry + Train
Make your way to the Amalfi ferry port, located near the main square. Board a ferry heading to Salerno (check the ferry schedule). The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Salerno, walk to the Salerno train station, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal. At the train station, purchase a ticket for the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. Get off at the Pompei Scavi stop. After exiting the train, follow the signs towards the archaeological site, where you will find Teatro Piccolo located nearby.
Walking + Train
If you prefer a more scenic route, you can walk along the coast from Amalfi to Atrani. This walk takes about 15 minutes and offers beautiful views. From Atrani, continue to Ravello by walking uphill for about 30 minutes. In Ravello, catch a local bus to the nearest train station, which will take you to Pompei. Once you arrive at Pompei Scavi station, follow the signs towards the archaeological area, and you will find Teatro Piccolo near the entrance.
