Walking
From the Amalfi Cathedral (Duomo di Amalfi), head east on Via Lorenzo d'Amalfi. Continue straight until you reach the Piazza dei Dogi. Turn left onto Via delle Cartiere, which will take you along the coast. Follow the signs for the bus station. Once you arrive at the SITA bus station, purchase a ticket to Pompei. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Pompei, you will be dropped off near the entrance to the archaeological site, which is a short walk to Piazza Esedra.

Start at the main square in Amalfi, near the Cathedral. Locate the SITA bus stop, which is just outside the square. Purchase a ticket to Pompei from the ticket booth. Board the bus heading towards Salerno and stay on until you reach the Pompei stop. The journey will take about an hour. Once you disembark, walk towards Piazza Esedra, which is about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
