If you are in Amalfi, start at the Amalfi Cathedral (Cattedrale di Sant'Andrea), located in the main square. From there, head east on Via Lorenzo d'Amalfi. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via delle Repubbliche Marinare. Turn left onto Via delle Repubbliche Marinare and follow it as it curves along the coast. After about 10-15 minutes of walking, you will see the beautiful town of Atrani ahead. Continue walking until you reach the main square of Atrani, Piazza Umberto I. The square is a vibrant hub with cafes and shops, and you will find the charming local atmosphere here.

From Amalfi, you can take a local SITA bus to Atrani. Head to the bus stop located near the Amalfi Cathedral. Look for the bus heading towards Salerno or Ravello. The journey to Atrani takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop labeled 'Atrani'. Once you disembark, walk towards the center of Atrani, and you will find yourself at the Piazza Umberto I, which is just a short walk from the bus stop.

During the tourist season, you can also take a ferry from Amalfi to Atrani. Head to the Amalfi Port, located near the main square. Look for the ferry service that goes to Atrani (check the schedule as it varies). The ferry ride is scenic and takes about 5 minutes. Once you arrive at the Atrani dock, walk straight toward the town center, and you will quickly find yourself at Piazza Umberto I.
