From the center of Arezzo, head towards Piazza Grande. Once you are at Piazza Grande, take the road leading south towards Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via dei Murelli. Turn left onto Via dei Murelli, and walk straight until you reach the train station, Stazione di Arezzo. From there, you can take a train to Pienza. Once you arrive at Pienza train station, exit and head towards the town center. Follow the signs for 'Centro Storico', and you will reach Piazza Dante Alighieri in about 15 minutes on foot.

From Arezzo, walk to the main bus station located near the train station. Look for buses heading towards Pienza; these are usually operated by the local transport company.
