Walking
If you are starting from Arezzo's main train station (Stazione di Arezzo), exit the station and head towards the city center. Walk straight along Via Guido Monaco for about 1 km until you reach the traffic circle. From there, take the first exit onto Viale della Repubblica. Continue straight on this road until you reach the historic center of Arezzo. Once you are in the old town, follow the signs towards Piazza San Francesco. You will pass by Piazza Grande; from there, head northeast on Via di San Francesco. Follow this street until you reach Piazza San Francesco, which will be on your left.

If you are already in the historic center, for example, at Piazza Grande, start by facing the Palazzo delle Logge. Head northeast onto Via di San Francesco. Continue straight along this street. You will find yourself walking past local shops and cafes. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see Piazza San Francesco ahead. The square is characterized by the beautiful church of San Francesco on one side.
