Walking
If you are in the city center of Arezzo, head towards Piazza Grande, which is the main square. From Piazza Grande, walk down the Via Borgo San Francesco. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street where it intersects with Via dei Pileati. Turn left onto Via dei Pileati and continue until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right fork onto Via San Domenico. Follow this road as it winds uphill, and you will eventually see the large open space of Piazza San Domenico ahead.

Alternatively, if you are near the Arezzo Cathedral (Cattedrale di San Donato), exit the cathedral and head down the steps towards Via Cesare Battisti. Turn right and walk towards Piazza San Francesco. From there, take Via San Francesco and follow it until you reach the intersection with Via San Domenico. Turn left onto Via San Domenico, and you will arrive at Piazza San Domenico where the basilica is located.
