Walking
From the center of Assisi, head towards Piazza del Comune. From the piazza, follow the signs towards the Basilica di San Francesco. Continue on Via San Francesco until you reach the intersection with Via Ponte dei Galli. Turn left onto Via Ponte dei Galli and continue straight. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see the entrance to Bosco di San Francesco on your left.
