Bus
From the center of Assisi, walk to the bus station located at Piazza Matteotti. Look for the bus that goes to Foligno. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Foligno, get off at the main bus station. From there, you will need to take a local bus to Rasiglia. Check the local bus schedules for the correct route, typically bus number 'F2' or similar that heads towards Rasiglia.
Walking
If you're up for a walk, start from the Basilica di San Francesco in Assisi. Head south on Via Frate Elia, following the signs towards Foligno. It's about a 12 km walk which will take around 2.5 to 3 hours. Enjoy the scenic views along the way, passing through fields and small villages. Once you reach Foligno, you can ask locals for directions to Rasiglia, which is just a short distance from the town.
Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Assisi. After renting, head down Via del Comune towards Via Frate Elia and follow the signs to Foligno. The route is mostly downhill, making it easier to reach. It’s about 12 km and should take you around 1.5 hours by bike. Upon reaching Foligno, you can either lock up your bike and walk or ride to Rasiglia, which is a few kilometers away.
